Arteam Cup 2016

Catalog published on the occasion of the exhibition of the finalists of the "Arteam Cup 2016" contemporary art prize at the Palazzo del Monferrato in Alessandria, 29 October – 20 November 2016.

To better understand the nature of this competition, organized by the Arteam Cultural Association of Albissola (www.arteam.eu) - Ligurian cultural association that has been operating for more than 15 years in the cultural field and that publishes one of the most esteemed and widespread contemporary art magazines at national level, Espoarte Contemporary Art Magazine - it is necessary to discover the aims and objectives that make it "unique" compared to other contemporary art awards spread nationwide. First of all, the award is aimed exclusively at its members, artists who are followed in their professional growth and to whom it is given, on this specific occasion, the opportunity to "get involved" in submitting an application e, in case of selection, to confront the work of other associates in a national exhibition setting (Arteam Cup and, in fact, “Itinerant” and arrives every year in new cities and always in prestigious locations).
In short, the mission of this art prize is only one: give visibility and contribute to the promotion and professional enrichment of its Associates, aiming for excellence.
Great attention is paid to the new generations - the under 30 - section that on the occasion of the edition 2016 sees the offer and quality considerably expanded.
Strengthened by the success of the first edition (Arteam Cup 2015, Venice, Workshop of the Zattere), Arteam Cup therefore reaches its second edition and presents a selection, almost doubled compared to the previous one, of the finalist artists at the Palazzo del Monferrato in Alessandria from 29 October to 20 November.
The Arteam Cup Jury 2016 has selected 69 artists Arteam members finalists (19 of the UNDER category 30 and 50 of the OVER category 30) to participate in the final exhibition at the Palazzo del Monferrato in Alessandria:
