Catalog of the exhibition “Komorebi sunlight filtering through trees. Light song of light ", edited by Matteo Galbiati, Raffaella Nobili, Laura Pintossi, 24 September - 13 November 2022, Avogadro Palace, Sarezzo (BS).
Komorebi sunlight filtering through trees. Light song of light is a collective contemporary art exhibition in which five Japanese artists participate (Asako Hishiki, Fukushi Ito, Kaori Ebina, Ayako Nakamiya, Kanaco Takahashi) for some time residing in Italy.
The event aims to involve the visitor through an unusual and immersive experience, that can stimulate the imagination of the public thanks to an installation played on the fortuitous encounter between the historical and defined identity of the place, Avogadro Palace in Sarezzo, and the exhibition itinerary conceived as a liminal and transcultural space.
The common thread, which binds the entire exhibition, it is Nature as the inspiring source of a vision in which time-space, lights and shadows become integral parts of the artistic project (Komorebi sunlight filtering through trees is a Japanese word of recent use, used to describe the light that filters through the trees of a forest and the mood that follows).
