Ernest Morales. Of time and waiting

Ernesto Morales has always sought and pursued his own personal vision of the world, almost a mission. He did this by traveling and observing the reality that surrounded him, looking upwards. In his memory he impressed, through a collection of sketches derived from photographs, the clouds that most caught his attention, for a more defined shape, for its own character. He has recreated a real atlas and now, with a series of studies behind it, is developing a painted encyclopedia.

Each of his works representing a cloud is unique and numbered, a forest or a cosmos, it presents itself as sacral, prophetic: an’epiphany. […]

I believe that this work is a path characterized not only by the uniqueness of the works, as much as from a cultural research of dissemination of that "world of ideas" generated by the timeless mind of Morales.
