Enzo Forgione, almost fifteen years after his first solo exhibition, feels the need to document his artistic journey and hisevolution of pictorial research which has developed over time.
His work is divided into several series and is essentially focused on botanical and floral subjects. These series clearly show the evolution both in the mastery of painting techniques, both in focusing on and dealing with issues dear to him, such as botany and visual perception, which he managed to combine and fully express in the series entitled ‘Narciso‘.
He has always been fascinated by the aspects of visual perception related to 'pattern’ (repeated motifs): sets of lines, shapes and structures that are found everywhere around us, both in the geometries of the daily urban context, is, mostly, in the apparent disorder of Nature…
