Antonio Marchetti Lamera. Before and after Zenit

The artistic research of Antonio Marchetti Lamera (Bergamo, 1964) he makes use exclusively of painting and drawing, which in his practice are the effective and punctual means to synthesize and recompose the images that come from the artist's endless photographic archive.
His painting is characterized by the use of a minimalist palette and an extreme liquidity of the sign, poetic and evocative at the same time.

On the occasion of the personal exhibition Eclipses and reflections. The revolution of Aristarchus, edited by Matteo Galbiati, to be held from 28 January to 11 March 2023 at Studio la Città di Verona, the new monograph of the artist is presented – accompanied by a text by Matteo Galbiati – which retraces his exhibition itinerary from 2011 to date.
