Nicola Vinci

"A trip to South Africa, looking for an intimate and elsewhere with exotic. Nicola Vinci does not start either with the curiosity of tourists nor with the "cynicism" of the photojournalist. His is a journey of experience, down a rugged and traumatic encounter a humanity that wears the scars of Apartheid. So, resumes his photograph looks nothing for domesticated, faces that escape (or defying) the eye of the camera. The result is a series of portraits that seem to look at anything or watch anything, but at the same time that "pierce" the photographic surface. Nicola Vinci was born in Castellaneta (OF) in 1975. Lives and works in Caldiero (VR)
