"The photographs that I create do not reflect the pattern of the grand idyllic traditional, but rather offer the beautiful and heroic view that can be seen from the corner of the darker life. I'm interested in the entropic forces and the ruins left in the wake of man's delusions of grandeur.
In my last series The City, I focused on the ruins of urban landscapes, choosing spaces that celebrate the modern culture, knowledge, Innovation, as for example: theaters, museums, Libraries and showroom of vacuum cleaners. Here the great monuments of civilization and material culture are left in a state of total abandonment, of decay and ruin, adding all the natural elements such as plants, insects and animals that are beginning to reclaim their spaces. This idea of a lost paradise or a world where the forces of nature claim their space, becomes even more effective if we think of the environmental challenge that the world around us today puts us. "
