– 30 Practice painting in Italy

A selection of young artists under thirty is an opportunity to make a summary of the situation regarding a widespread recovery of the pictorial medium and its much talked about use to represent the complexity of the contemporary world. Faced with the multiple expressive possibilities that the contemporary Italian art scene offers, the six artists chosen by Andrea Bruciati carry forward their choice with determination, as the curator points out, it is «central in an anthropological recovery of the image due to its procedural methods and the typological characteristics of the medium».
