PARMA STREET VIEW is the first edition of a Street Art and Urban Art Festival aimed at the aesthetic redevelopment of spaces and walls of the city.
From 19 to the 21 September 2014, in conjunction with the days when the 31st edition of the European Heritage Days was celebrated, PARMA STREET VIEW saw a dozen street artists recognized on the Italian art scene at work and young artists active in the territory of the Province of Parma who participated together, each with their own technical and stylistic specificities, to the creation of a collective mural of over 250 sqm dedicated to the theme of the barricades of 1922 and specially designed for the twelve spans of the boundary wall of the Liceo Linguistico G. Marconi.
The barricades, re-proposed in the subjects of young street artists (Alessandro Canu, Chomp, Dildo Society, Terrible, Mha Runs Among the Trees, P54, PsychoPatik), they are contemporary barricades, consist of furniture, wardrobes, tables, chairs, beds, mattresses, barrels, botti, domestic appliances, which remain as a symbol of a strong desire for social change, political and cultural.
