The architectures are stubborn worlds, with its skies and roofs and foundations which enclose and thereby perform a closing work of the wilderness and at the time of the seasons. There was a time when men made this sacred space fenced and believed that the foundation of a building was an act of faith by the religious and therefore eternal. Today that religions have become fragile nymphs and the sacred rites of the building and are perhaps only a memory, still remains the truth of Heidegger dictated that the Dwelling is the manner in which mortals are on the earth. Daniela Gullotta has always been architecture, apparently deserted by those who lived it or shake. The painter puts on powerful meaning antiquated bodies immersed in swirling Maelstrom time: sacrari cemeterial, Ancient buildings symbols of Western civilization, industrial plants, sheds a recent history of manufacturing not so "proto", shaped so as to become funnels light, dense matter and heavy thinking and full of light and almost marine light, the dawn of the world. They are images cognitive exterior and interior, temporally deep and simply connote, symbolically, an articulate and sensitive paradigm of power of human ingenuity, a review of its quality, managed and honored by the deterioration, the test of being "past".
