Arteam Cup 2017

Catalog of the final Arteam Cup exhibition 2017, the third edition of the award organized by the Arteam Cultural Association of Albissola Marina (SV). In the exhibition, curated by Livia Savorelli and Matteo Galbiati and hosted in the BonelliLAB spaces in Canneto sull’Oglio (MN) from 28 October to 19 November 2017, the works of the 70 finalist artists chosen by the technical jury (Irene Biolchini, Claudio Cerritelli, Adele Maria Costantini, Matteo Galbiati, Matteo Lorenzelli, Livia Savorelli).

«The works on display all denounce a general and vibrant hint of fragility, of weakness, of vulnerability, of alteratity, of mutability; they are all pervaded by a "sense of crossing" that leaves us indifferent to gender definitions and that places art as a primary status of judgment, evaluation, of story: each of them, from the largest to the smallest, from the canonical to the installation ones, accompany the gaze to a contaminating germination of outcrops that allow the exhibition space to be browsed as if it were the catalog of a very vivid and intense human "emotional". If a certain consistency of artistic quality is immediately intuited, just as direct is the expressive code that accompanies these works whose interpretation seems to be facilitated by the reverberation of the sensitivity of that of the other interventions placed alongside.
The Prize renews its alchemical magic, capable of mixing and assimilating experiences in an unpredictable and not determinable unicum a priori; the choices of the jury and the relationship with "competing" works, but without a common theme, establish an authenticity of inspiration that would otherwise be planned or projectable. The proposal, the choice, the reading and participation take place due to the spontaneity of the case that brought all the parties closer together, thanks to the opportunity offered by Arteam, they have the opportunity to approach and "talk" ".
