Pascal Bernier is one of the best-known figures of Belgian art scene. It is the artist of the puzzles, of symbols and metaphors thin.
An iconoclastic figure who uses a subtle humor and a false cynicism as weapons detection to decode the complex behaviors of the human. His works are apparently very close, behind a simple formal elegance lies a sophisticated depth of content that reveals multiple keys of interpretation. Through the ambiguity and paradox, wisely dosati, The artist takes the visitor to question the existential questions such as death, life, the relationship with the body after the end, fear, the desire and the relationship with nature more often subject to indiscriminate exploitation and impoverishment unjustified.
This exhibition highlights his versatile ability to express themselves through different media such as video, photography, painting and sculpture. In addition to a selection of very significant works of his artistic career as a Bipolar Perversion, Plush Mummy, W.W.F, Tableaux The Chasse, Funeral Fish and Snails attractor the artist presents the all-new installation "Hunting accidents 2013”, inspired by a research started in 1994, that has been very successful and its consecration in 2012 with the exhibition "A Nightmare Pop" at the Museum Le Botanique Brussels.
