REGINA JOSÉ GALINDO was born in 1974 a Guatemala City, where he lives and works. Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2005 in the category of young artists, in 2011 received the Prince Claus Award in the Netherlands and won the special prize at the 29th Biennale of Ljubljana. His works are in many public collections, tra cui Centre Pompidou, Paris; MEIAC- Extremaduran and Latin American Museum of Contemporary Art, Badajoz; Fondazione Galleria Civica, Trent; MMKA, Budapest; Castello di Rivoli, Turin; Daros Foundation, Zurich; Blanton Museum, Austin; UBS Art Collection, Basel; Miami Art Museum; Cisneros Fountanal Art Foundation, Miami; Madco-Museum of Contemporary Art, Costa Rica.
