Yards of Image, gallery committed to the promotion of international contemporary art, after the solo exhibition of Iranian Gohar Dashti returns to host the exhibition space the new trends in Italian art with the exhibition entitled “Hýbris, dramatically as the practice of communication“.

The sample, curata da Andrea Lacarpia and corredata of a catalog / ebook Vanillaedizioni, alternates dramatic notes to play, combining a selection of recent works by three young Italian artists: Enrica Berson (Modena 1984), Silvia Forese (Verona 1984) and Elena Monzó (Brescia 1981). Although formally different, the works of three artists interact in a single project to show different interpretations and shades of today's culture of excess, with the aim to explore the peculiarities semantic visual exuberance in contemporary life.

The proportion, currently high in practice by the mechanisms of a globalized economy, in the greek world was identified in the hýbris, concept which indicates the arrogance of man as opposed to the sense of measure desired by the gods to protect the stability of the cosmos: a tension between order and chaos that, expressed in Greek tragedy as in many current forms of artistic expression, maintains at all times the same purposes cathartic.
