Guido Airoldi

Guido Airoldi was born in Bergamo (Italy) in 1977. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. His interests are painting, collage and performance. In 2007 exhibits his first solo show – Dichotomies – at the Colleoni Castle in Bergamo (Italy). He has participated in numerous exhibitions and awards, immediately obtaining appreciation for the quality of his work. In 2010 is a finalist in the IV Laguna Art Award where he exhibited at the Arsenale of Venice and won the Special Prize Catch by Eye, Save in the heart gets the chance to exhibit in London. He also wins Koller Gallery Special Prize to exhibit in Budapest. Participate in the collective Archive yourself at the Borroni factory in Milan, edited by Fiordalice Sette. Here his work is noticed by Mattia Munari who includes him among the artists of his gallery: Ex Circus it is the first solo exhibition at Anfiteatro Arte in Milan. Then he exposes Recovered Animals at the Triangoloarte Gallery in Bergamo, edited by Paolo Bosc.

In 2011 the Municipality of Lecce and the University of Salento organized his personal exhibition Circus Louis, edited by Carolina Lio, at the Castle of Charles V. Exhibits later Car On Air at Superstudiopiù in Milan. In 2013 presents the staff Silence Manifestos at the Borroni Factory (Milan) within the project Italian Spirit and I AM THAT YOU WILL at the Triangoloarte in Bergamo. In 2015 exposes the installation Hometown at the Toselli Gallery in Milan e Silence Manifestos from Isolo17 to Verona. In 2016 exposes Focus at the Zoological and Paleontological Museum of the Federico II University of Naples and at the Anywhere Art Company Gallery. Presents, then, the staff BesDiario, within the scope of Autumn equinox 2016 and Circus Louis in 2017 both at Rivara Castle - Museum of Contemporary Art, edited by Franz Paludetto.

He was a finalist for the Award Arteam Cup 2016, 2018 and 2020 and Optima Prize 2018. He then exhibited at the Stelline Foundation in Milan and again at the Castello di Rivara - Museum of Contemporary Art, edited by Franz Paludetto. In 2019 exposes Hometown at the European Parliament in Brussels and participates in the project Speculate presented in the rooms of the MANN National Archaeological Museum of Naples.

In 2022 presents Morning at the Rivara Castle - Museum of Contemporary Art e Hometown, in the collective exhibition Terra sacra edited by Flavio Arensi, at the Mole Vanvitelliana in Ancona.
