Federica Di Pietrantonio
Federica Di Pietrantonio (federicadipiet) born in 1996 a Roma, where he currently lives and works. Studied Painting at RUFA - Rome University of Fine Arts graduating in 2019, and carries out his thesis research spending free time at KASK (Ghent, Belgium), where he develops the project Vacation Spot. In 2017 is selected for Mediterranean 18 Young Artists Biennale and the following year he joined Space In Situ, where he works as an artist and web designer. In 2020 wins with opera does the body know, the special Emerging Award of the Culture and Art Foundation as part of the 13th edition of Talent Prize promoted by Inside Art. In 2021, instead, is selected by NAM - Not a Museum for the residence Superblast At Tobacco Factory (Florence) with the project not so far away born from a research in the virtual environments of videogames. From 2018 the collaboration with Andrea Frosolini is born, that gives life to projects ISIT.magazine (independent online / offline editorial project), Webby Agency (Web agency focused on the design and implementation of web services for artists and art professionals) and the artistic couple AFFDP. Federica Di Pietrantonio has exhibited in private and institutional spaces, among which Tobacco Factory (Florence), the palms (Lisbon), A Showcase (Rome), Temple University Gallery (Rome), The Gallery Apart (Rome) and Space In Situ (Rome).
His research focuses on relationships, relationships and processes that develop from simulated or virtual realities and social platforms.
