Your new daily ritual ...
Being locked in the house for a month and a half makes it difficult for me to work especially as I work with papers and documents. All the projects relating to exhibitions and the collection have been frozen and we will have to wait, no one knows exactly until when…

What you're missing? Your personal experience of "absence" and "lack".
I appreciate the lack of going out, to move freely as I used to do, it's getting difficult. Living in stand-by for such a long time, it gave me the chance to live in my home, my garden, my family. But it's like being elsewhere, out of life, it's a very strange feeling.

How do you imagine the world, when everything will start again?
Everyone says, and maybe they hope, that in the end the world will be different, that we humans have learned an important lesson, but it will really be like that? Or maybe, after a short period of fear, everything will recover as before? We will continue to destroy ourselves and our world? The first days the silence that surrounded me frightened me, now I find it magnificent. On Easter day, the bells of all the churches of the neighboring villages were heard and not just ours. Eagles are seen flying in the sky, you follow the blossoming of the flowers and the plants that change every day. It's nice, you realize you are part of a wonderful world.
My big concern is that it won't happen like in New York after 9/11. I lived in that city before and after the disaster and I can assure you that the city has changed. If it was already a city always in fibrillation, later she became hysterical, hectic, lifeless as if everyone was afraid that something terrible might happen again. Here we hope that all of us also do not become hysterical and full of fear, we hope we can continue to trust our neighbor and lead peaceful lives. When this happens, who knows? Hopefully soon, so that all our projects and everyone's life return to normal.

Biography
I was born in 1958 by Giuseppe and Giovanna Panza di Biumo, I am the second of five children and the only girl. I married Gabriele Caccia Dominioni with whom I had three children. Graduated as an interpreter and translator, I started working in the collection in the late 1980s, first in the archive and then with increasingly important tasks. Now I am director of the collection and over the years I have been involved in organizing exhibitions, I have given lectures and conferences, I wrote short texts. The last exhibition we dealt with was in Venice last spring in the Olivetti del Fai store. We showed small works from the 70s / 90s.
